Wix: How to Add a New User and Provide Admin Access

Need to give someone access to your Wix website? Here’s a quick and easy guide to help you add a new user and assign admin permissions so they can help manage your site and online business.


🔑 How to Add a New User in Wix

  1. Go to Your Wix Dashboard- Click here to access your site’s main dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings- In the left-hand menu, click on Settings.

  3. Click on Roles & Permissions- This is where you’ll manage team access. Select Roles & Permissions to continue.

  4. Click 'Invite People'- Enter the email address of the person you'd like to invite.

👥 How to Provide Full Admin Access


When assigning a role, choose Admin to give the user full CMS access. An Admin can:

  • Edit the entire website

  • Access all dashboard features

  • Help manage bookings, contact forms, store settings, and more
